
OnePlus today announced the extension of its ongoing exclusive warranty policy for existing OnePlus users in Malaysia. Initially only effective from 15 July to 15 September 2022, the policy has now been extended until 31 December 2022, though do note that it will only be available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Introduced in July this year alongside the brand’s official establishment in Malaysia, the exclusive warranty policy covers specific models both in-and-out-warranty now aims to benefit pre-existing Malaysian OnePlus users. The company elaborated that this move is part of the brand’s commitment to bring the full OnePlus experience to the local market.

Currently, both new and existing OnePlus users can visit the two official authorised service centres to have their smartphones repaired. Alternatively, they can also take advantage of the Mail-in-Repair service from participating OnePlus Retail Stores, where their smartphones will be sent to an authorised service centre free of charge. Moreover, users can also opt for the Self-mail-in-Repair service by mailing their phones to the 1Powerhouse OnePlus Authorised SIR Centre with the send-in-courier fee borne by the user and the returning courier fee borne by the SIR centre.

Besides that, OnePlus also announced Community Support through the OnePlus Community as well as easier access to IoT repair. For the former, OnePlus is also holding Community engagement activities where prizes may be won.
Users can look out for the upcoming Unboxing and Win activity, where they can stand a chance to win an exclusive OnePlus bundle by uploading their unboxing of the OnePlus 10T 5G.
