Wireless charging can be a big deal for those who don’t like to get tangled up with cables, or for those who enjoy the features like sharing power with other phones which we’ve seen from Samsung or Huawei. No matter if you use it or not, most of the flagship smartphones nowadays normally come with wireless charging support. However, there is also OnePlus, a brand that has never adopted the technology into their smartphones. Rumour has it, the upcoming OnePlus 8 Pro might get the feature and we can’t wait to find out if it’s true!
Recently, a tipster named Max J. posted a concept picture revealing a OnePlus device being placed on a wireless charging pad. He also suggested that the device will be a ‘Pro’ variant from the latest series. However, he later posted a follow-up tweet that claimed the picture is just “a concept for illustration purpose only.”

If this tweet from Max J. never happened at all, we would still know that OnePlus has a plan to bring wireless charging to their new device based on some old rumours. Unfortunately, there is no official confirmation yet and we are skeptical about this technology will finally land on OnePlus’ device.
