If you’re a OnePlus 7 series  or OnePlus 7T series owner, then we’ve got some bad news for you as the two 2019 flagship series from the company have officially run its course software-wise. Announced via a OnePlus community forum post, Winkey W. from the company’s software team confirmed that OxygenOS 12 MP3 update would be the last build for both smartphone series.

In the post, Winkey also asserted that OnePlus is currently in the midst of pushing the incremental rollout of OXygenOS 12 MP3 for the 7, 7 Pro, 7T and 7T Pro which would integrate the December 2022 Android security patch to enhance system security. Moreover, the update improves system stability and performance as well as the stability of mobile network connections.

This update comes a few months after both smartphones received the stable OxygenOS 12 update and as it stands, that is the final OS version that the smartphones will officially run on.
