Open AI introduces an improved Temporary Chat feature

Recently, OpenAI released a new update to provide you with more data control functions. This update adds management permissions to your' conversation history and introduces a new "ad hoc chat" feature. That said, what should you know about it?

In previous versions, you can choose not to contribute conversation data to train the model. So, ChatGPT were unable to access their chat history. However, the latest update removes this restriction and allows you to access chat history and review past interactions with ChatGPT, regardless of whether you choose to contribute data. OpenAI also promises that your’ previous choices not to contribute data will still be valid.

In addition, to meet your higher privacy needs, OpenAI has introduced a "temporary chat" feature. This feature allows you to have one-time conversations without the content being saved in the chat history. This feature is useful for conversations involving sensitive topics, or when you don’t want to leave a record of the interaction.

Moreover, this update provides you with more data control and improves the ChatGPT experience. OpenAI is moving in a more user-centric direction by opening up access to chat history, respecting your’ choices not to contribute data, and introducing an “ad hoc chat” feature. We have yet to confirm other details on the news, but it will be interesting to see how everyone in Malaysia could benefit from it.
