If you're not a fan of the memory-hogging Chrome browser and want an alternative, why not try Opera? A new version of the browser has been released and it comes with a feature that social media addicts may enjoy. Specifically, we're talking about the new sidebar feature.

According to the official website, you can now directly access Twitter via a sidebar in Opera, without having to open a browser tab for it. You can even pin the sidebar so it's always on top, allowing you to quickly share things. In the same way, the sidebar can provide you with quick access to Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and more.

Besides that, Opera also comes with a variety of useful features. There's a free VPN, ad-blocker, dark mode theme, and even a currency converter all built into the app. In other words, these are there without having to download extensions.
