The Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile App Designer Tool allows users to create virtually any app according to need, without writing a single line of code
Oracle recently announced the availability of their Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile App Designer Tool for their enterprise and business users utilizing Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. The new design tool makes it easy to create customized interactive analytical apps or applications that can run off any mobile device regardless of operating system. Utilizing HTML 5, apps created using the designer tool automatically resize according to screen size thanks to a responsive web engine, allowing users to view these apps from their smartphones or tablets.

The Oracle BI Mobile App Designer uses a drag-and-drop interface that builds on the Oracle BI backend and allows business managers to create apps on their own without having to write a single line of code. This decreases dependency on the IT department, reduces the load on the already overburdened IT department and lets business managers make apps custom-fit for their needs. Apps can be shared through the App Library and viewed by simply scanning the resulting QR Code using the mobile device of choice for easy access. Oracle had this to say about it:
