According to Tesla, Model Y is one of the safest SUVs in the world with a 5-star rating from NHTSA and Euro-NCAP. This model provides all-around safety measures, which include an all-glass roof, autopilot, HEPA filtration system and Bioweapon Defence mode. On top of that, the Model Y offers 2100 litres of cargo space, providing versatile seating and storage for up to five passengers with their belongings.
Thanks to the ultra-responsive motors, it takes just 3.7 seconds for Model Y to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h with a range of up to 533 km (WLTP). As of now, the Tesla Model Y is available in 3 trims: Model Y (Rear-wheel drive), Model Y Long Range and Model Y Performance. The delivery date for these models is expected to be in early 2024.
The price for Tesla Model Y starts from RM199000 and is now available for pre-order in Malaysia starting today. Thanks to the low-carbon mobility initiative, you can also enjoy full import and excise duties exemption for newly registered zero-emission Tesla electric vehicles (Completely Built-up electric vehicles) and 100% road tax exemption.
