If you know Oukitel, chances are you know it usually packs huge battery capacities inside the hood. Just a few hours ago, the company just announced the Oukitel K7000 that carries 7000 mAh battery in total. And that's not all, it also comes with a charger case called the Matrix. But before we get to that, here's what we know about the tech-specs:

  • MT6737 quad-core A53 chipset
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB storage (expandable memory available up to 32GB)
  • 5-inch display
  • 13MP rear camera + 5MP front camera
  • Fingerprint sensor, Matrix wireless power bank
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow
  • 2000mAh battery

In the specification sheet above, although it's stated 2000mAh battery, this is not a misinformation by the company. In fact, the "Matrix" is a wireless power bank and it comes together with the phone and carries 5000mAh battery power inside. So combining it with the phone, it becomes 7000mAh. Like any power banks, the Matrix can be charged directly but without using the reverse charge USB cable and can be used as a phone stand for watching videos. The cover is light and thing with plastic material for protection.

Oukitel will start the pre-sale of the device on 20-25 July on their website, it's not known if they plan to release it in Malaysia as well but stay tuned for that news at Technave.com.
