LG Electronics went somewhat over-the-top with its recently announced 49-inch curved LG UltraGear 49GR85DC gaming monitor. Featuring a 32:9 aspect ratio and 240Hz refresh rate the monitor is obviously aimed at gamers but due to the screen width it could easily double for those productivity users who need 2 screens to comfortably do work.
Other tech specs include a 5120 x 1440 pixel resolution, 1000R curvature, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 1000-nit peak brightness and the monitor is also VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified. It also supports DTS Headphone:X. Connections include DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 ports.
