Over the past few weeks, the leaks of Epic Games Store free game giveaways have been accurate. First started with GTA V, followed by Civilization VI and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, we all thought that ARK Survival will be the next one but turns out it was not the case. In fact, turns out it was none other than Overcooked!
Interestingly, Epic Games' social account on Weibo (and not Twitter) announced that ARK Survival was supposed to be the next free game giveaway but it was postponed due to some reasons. With this, it was replaced with Overcooked and they needed a few more days until it's ready. Well, can't say we are disappointed since ARK Survival is not that popular in Malaysia but Overcooked is quite fun to play too.

For those who don't know what Overcooked is about, it's a "chaotic couch co-op cooking game for one to four players" as to how Epic Games puts it. This game demands a lot of teamwork to get the food prepared and have them delivered to your customers before they get pissed off. Not entirely a new concept, but some of us in TechNave here have played it before and it's really stressful + fun to play with your friends and family. Give it a try!
We won't know when will ARK Survival is free, it could be the next free game giveaway next week (or not). By the way, Total War Saga: Troy will be released on 13 August 2020 in Epic Games Store exclusively and although it's a brand new game, gamers will be able to claim it for free during the first 24 hours of its launch.
