As promised, POCO has brought a new C-series smartphone to the Indian market today. However, the device is not considered wholly new as it appears to be just a revamped version of last year's POCO C3. The only difference between the two devices is just an addition of a rear fingerprint sensor.

The POCO C31, as mentioned, is basically the POCO C3 by featuring the same MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. It also sports a 6.53-inch LCD panel with 720 x 1600 pixels (HD+), a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a waterdrop notch. Under the hood, it packs a 5,000mAH battery with 10W charging.

The camera department brings a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it uses a 5MP selfie camera. For connectivity, the device supports dual-SIM, 4G, VoLTE, VoWiFi, single-band WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0. It will also run MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out of the box.

The POCO C31 will be on sale in India at INR 8,499 (~RM478) for the 3/32GB variant and INR 9,499 (~RM535) for the 4/64GB variant. There are only two colour options, including Royal Blue and Shadow Grey. It's unsure whether the device will come to Malaysia for now, but we'll update you once we receive any latest information.
