We know POCO has three series of smartphones - the F, M, and X series. The first one is the company's flagship series, while the other two series consist of mid-range devices. But soon, POCO could also have an entry-level model to add to its lineup of smartphones, starting with the POCO C40.

Late Friday night, POCO announced that it would unveil the POCO C40 on 16 June 2022. The announcement didn't reveal much but does mention that it's an exclusive POCO design. It's also expected to feature the company's iconic yellow colour. Based on the silhouette from the image, the phone would have a square cutout for the rear cameras, and what seems to be one for a now outdated rear fingerprint reader.

Not much else was revealed so far, but POCO did reveal the display specs and battery capacity. The POCO C40 will feature a 6.71-inch "immersive dot drop display", which means we can expect a tear-drop notch for the front camera. It will also have a sizable 6000mAh battery that should last for more than a day with regular daily activities like texting or web browsing.

While POCO has not confirmed it, sources believe that this is an entry-level smartphone. Would you get one if that's the case? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about this phone.
