POCO C50 release: Helio A22 SoC and 5000mAh battery from ~RM332

After being in the rumour mills for a while now, POCO has finally released the POCO C50 in India. The Xiaomi subsidiary’s latest budget offering, the smartphone features a MediaTek Helio A22 processor under the hood paired with either 2 or 3GB of RAM. 

In terms of storage, the device is offered in just a singular 32GB variant, which is expandable by up to 512GB with the microSD card slot. According to the official Flipkart listing, the C50 also sports a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging through micro USB.

As for the display, the budget device is fitted with a 6.52-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a waterdrop notch. The notch houses a 5MP selfie shooter, which is complemented by an 8MP AI dual-camera setup with LED flash at the rear. 

Other notable specs include Android 12 Go Edition, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, a faux-leather finish, colour options of Royal Blue and Country Green, a 3.5mm audio jack as well as dual SIM.  In India, the C50 is priced at INR6249 or ~RM332 for the 2/32GB variant while the 3/32GB configuration is INR6999 or ~RM372.
