Yesterday, POCO released a new teaser about the POCO C65. What's even more surprising was that the official pricing was also released for a starting price of $109 (~RM516). Initially, there was an official Malaysian price too but it got taken down.
In case you're wondering, the removed Malaysian pricing post was revealed to be RM499 and RM599 for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB respectively. It seemed that POCO Malaysia was planning to launch these two models on different platforms too, particularly on Lazada and Shopee respectively during 6-15 November 2023 with a RM50 early bird price discount as seen below.
On top of that, POCO has confirmed three tech specs. There will be two memory configurations as aforementioned. In addition, the C65 will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a 6.74-inch 90Hz display and a 50MP primary camera. A triple rear camera setup was mentioned and we assume that the other two cameras would be ultrawide and depth lenses.
According to POCO, the POCO C65 will be launching on 5 November 2023. There should be an online livestream as well and may be shown on the official POCO Facebook page here. Until then, stay tuned for the official news.
