A few weeks ago, the POCO C71 was launched in India, but it has finally arrived in Malaysia. Xiaomi Malaysia has officially announced the availability, and the price starts at only RM299.
To recap, the C71 is an entry-level smartphone catered to the budget-conscious target audience. Despite the low-tier hardware, it still comes with some nice tech specs, such as the large 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate. The display is also certified with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light (Software Solution), TÜV Rheinland Flicker-Free, and TÜV Rheinland Circadian Friendly.

On top of that, it also has a large 5,200mAh battery pack, offering more than 20 hours of video playback and over 9 hours of mobile gaming on a single charge, but the charging speed is only 15W via USB Type C. Moreover, the C71 features a newly upgraded 32MP AI dual camera system, while its front camera is 8MP.
Lastly, the C71 packs an octa-core UNISOC T7250 chipset. And for added convenience, users can even make use of the side fingerprint sensor and AI Face unlock. It will be at the official POCO stores on Shopee, Lazada, and mi.com, in black, gold and blue with two storage variants: 3GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB.
| C71 memory variant | Price (RM) | Early Bird Promo (RM) |
|---|---|---|
| 3GB+64GB | 299 | 269 |
| 4GB+128GB | 399 | 319 |
From now until 9 May, customers can enjoy exclusive early bird pricing on these two model variants as seen in the table above. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
