POCO C71 release - 5200mAh battery and 120Hz LCD from ~RM338

POCO has launched its latest entry-level smartphone in India, the POCO C71. Going on sale in the country on 8 April, read on to learn more about the device.

According to its Flipkart listing, the C71 is powered by the Unisoc T7250 Max SoC paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Battery-wise, it’s a 5200mAh cell which supports 15W charging via the USB-C port.

Meanwhile, the screen is a 6.88-inch 120Hz LCD with an HD+ resolution, 600 nits peak brightness, wet touch support and a water-drop notch housing the 8MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is a 32MP shooter paired with a secondary sensor. 

Other notable specs include an IP52 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 15, 2 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates and colour options of either Cool Blue, Desert Gold or Power Black. In India, the C71 starts at INR6499 or ~RM338 for the 4/64GB variant, with global availability yet to be announced.
