The first leaks of the POCO F5 are here. New information provided by Xiaomiui points out that the device will feature a 2K display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.

Despite being a common standard for the current flagships, it's still exciting to know that the POCO F5 will feature a more powerful processor. The previous POCO F3 and F4 pack the same chipset, which is the Snapdragon 870. Therefore, many users of the previous model did not consider purchasing the new one. However, POCO might have taken note of that and would do something different this time.

Furthermore, POCO F5 could be a rebranded version of an upcoming Redmi device, the Redmi K60. The previous POCO F4 arrived as a rebranded Redmi K40, so the company is likely to take ideas from the same series. IMEI Database has revealed the identification number for the POCO F5 as 23011311AG, and it's expected to launch in the same time period as the Redmi K60.
