Previously, we reported that the POCO F5 is confirmed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC. Now, we’ve just got confirmation from POCO that the POCO F5 series would be launching soon, on 9 May 2023 to be exact.
Taking to its official global Twitter account, POCO announced that the F5 series, comprising the F5 and F5 Pro will be unveiled during an online launch event on the aforementioned date. The event would be live-streamed at 20:00 GMT+8, which would be the same time zone as Malaysia.
The teaser poster attached to the announcement also revealed the series’ tagline, which is “Ignite your hyperpower”. No other information were revealed regarding the upcoming series, though Qualcomm did reveal the vanilla F5 would use its Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC via its Snapdragon India Twitter account.
