As we’ve reported previously, POCO today launched its latest affordable offering in India with the POCO M6 5G. Dubbed as the ‘most affordable 5G phone ever’ by the Xiaomi subsidiary, read on to find out more.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. There’s also a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W charging, though only a 10W charger is included in the box. Hey, at least it’s better than nothing!
The display is a 6.74-inch 90Hz LCD with a water-drop style notch that houses the 5MP selfie shooter. The main camera setup is a 50MP camera paired with an auxiliary sensor.
Other notable specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.3 and colour options of either Orion Blue or Galactic Black. In India, the M6 5G is priced at INR10499 or ~RM584 for the base 4/128GB variant and the specced out 8/256GB configuration is INR13499 or ~RM752. Users in India can also get INR1000 or ~RM56 off if they use ICICI Bank cards, making the device even more affordable.
