POCO today launched its latest tablet offering in India, the POCO Pad 5G. Essentially the 5G version of the POCO Pad that was released back in May, read on to learn more.
All of the specs are basically the same, except for the cellular connectivity. As a refresher, both the Pad and Pad 5G feature the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
They’re also using a 12.1-inch LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2.5K resolution, 600nits peak brightness and certified by TÜV Rheinland. As a tablet, it comes equipped with a full set of accessories but is sold separately. This includes a POCO Pad Keyboard, a POCO Smart Pen and a POCO Pad Cover.
Moving on, the Pad series also has a 10,000mAh battery pack that supports a 33W fast charging technology and even has reverse charging functions. Both the front and rear primary cameras have the same 8MP and as expected, the tablet is running on Xiaomi's latest HyperOS software. HyperOS apparently supports interconnection functions such as 5G network sharing, wireless sub-screen, and key + mouse sharing.
In India, the Pad 5G is offered in Cobalt Blue or Pistachio Green colour options starting at INR23999 or ~RM1252. Global availability for the tablet is yet to be announced, so stay tuned to TechNave for the latest developments on this and more trending tech news.
