POCO X2 series release: 120Hz display and SD730G chipset from ~RM925

POCO has officially announced that the highly anticipated POCO X2 smartphone has been officially unveiled in India, starting from the price of INR15999(~RM925) for the 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant. Other than that, there is also the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants which can be purchased at the price of INR16999(~RM983) and INR19999(~RM1157) respectively.

In terms of the features, the aforementioned smartphone comes equipped with a 120Hz display which will not only make smartphones feel more fluid but also provides an immersive experience while mobile games. But that’s not all, the device also comes with the Intelligent Dynamic Refresh Rate display which switches between 120Hz and 60Hz refresh rate in order to improve battery life.

In order to keep the smartphone cool, the POCO X2 also has the LiquidCool Technology which is essentially a vapour chamber that provides up to 300% faster heat transfer compared to smartphones that do not come with it. In terms of the full tech specs, it comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, 6.67-inch display with up to 120Hz refresh rate and a 4500mAh battery with support for 27W fast charging.

Camera-wise, the phone also includes a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad-camera setup and a 20MP + 2MP camera in the front. As of now, there is no official information in terms of the Malaysia release date and local pricing of the smartphone in question for now.
