POCO X5 Pro 5G & X5 5G Malaysia release: special early bird price launch from RM999

Last night, POCO finally unveiled the POCO X5 Pro 5G and POCO X5 5G globally. Coming in two different variants for each model, the starting price is RM1099 but there would be a special early bird price promo too from RM999. 

From February 9, the POCO X5 Pro 5G will be available in two variants: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB for RM 1,299 and RM 1,499 respectively. With three colour options: Black, Blue, and Yellow – the phone can be purchased exclusively on the POCO Official store on Lazada. Early bird pricing will be available for those who purchase at RM 1,199 (6GB + 128GB) and RM 1,399 (8GB + 256GB), while stocks last.



On the other hand, the POCO X5 5G will also be available for purchase in two variants: 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB for RM 1,099 and RM 1,199 respectively. This model can be purchased exclusively on the POCO Official store on Shopee in Green, Blue, and Black. If you get it early, you can purchase it at RM 999 (6GB + 128GB) and RM 1,099 (8GB + 256GB), while stocks last.

To recap the tech specs, the POCO X5 Pro 5G features 6.67-inch 120Hz Flow AMOLED with 100% DCI-P3 and 10-bit colour depth. It even has Dolby Vision integrated into the display, as well as a 1920Hz PWM dimming to protect eyesight when reading in low light. Powered by a Snapdragon 778G 5G chipset, it's set to complement the 108MP primary camera for 4K video recording and more. The 5000mAh battery pack is supported by 67W Turbo charging technology.

Next the POCO X5 5G also has the same AMOLED DotDisplay size and refresh rate. Equipped with a Snapdragon 695 chipset, users can make use of the Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology 3.0 with up to 8GB of RAM in total, which the pro variant has too. Moreover, the battery pack is also the same but supports 33W fast charging technology.
