POCO X7 Series Malaysia release - Up to 12GB + 512GB, starting promo price at RM999 for a limited time

After a few weeks of teases, the POCO X7 and POCO X7 Pro finally launched globally. In Malaysia, there are a couple of variants with a starting price of RM1,199 and for a limited time, there's an ongoing promo price of just RM999.

Before we get to the prices, here are some highlighted tech specs of the POCO X7 series. The POCO X7 Pro is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset and runs on the latest Xiaomi HyperOS 2. With these two combined, the pro variant leverages an upgraded WildBooist Optimisation 3.0 to provide a more stable frame rate and enhanced connection, as well as immersive sound and graphics effects.

To keep the machine cool, the POCO X7 Pro is equipped with LiquidCool Technology 4.0, featuring a 5000mm ultra-large cooling area with a 3D IceLoop System that separates vapour and liquid. This specially engineered 3D structure around the CPU helps to dissipate heat more efficiently, leading to three times the effectiveness of a traditional vapour chamber.

The POCO X7 Pro has a massive 6,000mAh battery with 90W HyperCharge, while the POCO X7 features a 5,110mAh battery with 45W Turbo Charging technology. It's also noted that both phones feature the same 6.67-inch CrystalRes 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,200 and 3,000 nits, respectively. Additionally, the displays also have a 2560Hz touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection (7i for pro and Victus 2 for the non-pro).

At the camera corner, both phones have the same 50MP primary Sony IMX882 camera, an 8MP ultrawide and a 20MP front camera. The POCO X7 also has an extra 2MP macro camera and as expected, the phones have AI-driven features such as AI Erase Pro, AI Image Expansion and AI Films. The POCO X7 supports 4K video recording at 30fps, while the POCO X7 Pro steps it up with 4K at 60fps with OIS and EIS dual stabilization.

Lastly, both phones come with a Google Gemini app and other AI-driven tools which include AI Interpreter, AI Notes and AI Recorder. The POCO X7 Pro is available in black, green and yellow, whereas the POCO X7 comes in black, green and silver. Below are the original and promo prices for each memory configuration:
