POCO is ready to enter a new generation for its M-series smartphones. Today, the official Twitter account of POCO Indian hints at a new device powered by the Helio G99 chipset, and arrows are pointing towards the POCO M5 4G.

The device might include a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD+ resolution. It should also have a refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, the chip could get paired with 4GB and 6GB of RAM. Furthermore, there's a 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast charging. Other features are a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-band WiFi connectivity, and Bluetooth 5.0.

It's worth mentioning that POCO skipped the vanilla M4 4G and directly launched the M4 Pro 4G in February 2022. Therefore, it remains a mystery if the device would be the M5 4G, not to mention that the company hasn't officially announced it yet. However, since the teaser is already here, we should hear more soon.
