In the past years, we have seen some smartphone brands started to put in the effort to be attractive in the laptop market. With Xiaomi started the laptop business some time ago and still going well, it looks like the sub-brand POCO is also planning to expand their product line with laptops. It is reported that two laptop batteries that were filed under the brand POCO have appeared on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website.
According to the source, the laptop batteries that belong to POCO have two model numbers which are R15B02W and R14B02W. It is mentioned that the laptops could be launched as early as this year and that makes us really excited. However, we still need to wait for any official announcement to confirm this rumour.
Unfortunately, it is said that the upcoming POCO laptops will be on sale exclusively in India. Therefore, we might still need to wait for a while for the company to make the decision of launching their laptops globally. If it does happen, we can expect that those would come with affordable prices and attractive features like their smartphones.
