PRO-NET, a wholly owned subsidiary of Proton, has announced a special Hari Raya promotion for the Proton e.MAS 5, following the model’s launch just a few months ago. For the upcoming Raya celebration, the company is planning a promotion, so if you're planning to get one, read one below to find out more.
PRO-NET introduces RM500 Raya rebate for customers
In conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations, PRO-NET has introduced a RM500 Raya rebate for customers who book the Proton e.MAS 5 within the promotional period. To be eligible, customers who book the Proton e.MAS 5 by 23 March 2026 will be eligible for the RM500 rebate, provided the vehicle registration is completed by 30 September 2026.
The rebate also applies to customers who placed their bookings and registered the vehicle between its official launch on 31 October 2025 and 23 March 2026. Do take note that the RM500 Raya Rebate Promotion is not valid for customers who have previously enjoyed the early bird booking rebates, with terms and conditions applied.
Extended Warranty and Launch Pricing Still Available
Beyond the promotional rebate, customers purchasing the Proton e.MAS 5 will also benefit from extended launch pricing and comprehensive warranty coverage. The EV comes with a six-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, along with an eight-year or 160000 km warranty covering the high-voltage battery and related components. These incentives aim to provide additional peace of mind for buyers considering the transition to electric vehicles.
CEO Highlights Strong Response to the EV
Zhang Qiang, Chief Executive Officer of PRO-NET, said the response to the Proton e.MAS 5 has exceeded expectations and demonstrates that Malaysian consumers are ready to transition toward electric mobility when the right product is available. The Raya rebate, he added, is a way for the company to thank customers while continuing efforts to accelerate EV adoption across the country.
The electric vehicle has emerged as Malaysia’s best-selling EV for two consecutive months in 2026. As of February 2026, total nationwide registrations for the Proton e.MAS 5 have surpassed 5000 units, strengthening its position as the country’s top-selling EV. The strong momentum began earlier in the year with 3068 units delivered in January, followed by another 1562 units handed over to customers in February.
