If you have played PUBG Mobile at least once, you have already contributed to the mobile game's recent milestone. Tencent just announced that it has surpassed 1 billion downloads in total globally and get this - China is not even included in the number, which is most impressive.

To refresh your memory, PUBG Mobile was first released in 2018 and it's amazing to think that it is still popular today. Within a year, it became the highest-grossing mobile game and has somehow managed to keep the mobile game fresh with new contents now and then. Currently, Tencent is going to implement a Godzilla vs Kong theme in the game just like Godzilla: King of the Monsters previously. The classic map Karakin will be available on 7 April as well.

By the way, there is going to be a new PUBG mobile game spin-off as well in the future called PUBG: New State. Developed by PUBG Studios, the game would be quite similar to COD Mobile with futuristic settings and weapons. It's scheduled to launch on both iOS and Android this year.
