PUBG Mobile officially launches its collaboration with popular Malaysian 3D-animated series BoBoiBoy

PUBG Mobile today officially launched its in-game collaboration with the popular Malaysian 3D-animated series BoBoiBoy, produced by MONSTA. The popular mobile game’s latest collaboration with a Malaysian product, the PUBG Mobile x BoBoiBoy collaboration will be split into 2 phases in October 2022 as well as January 2023. 

In a statement today, PUBG Mobile said that phase 1 of the collaboration will focus on core gameplay aesthetics and events while phase 2 will focus more on character development and community building. For the first phase, PUBG Mobile players will be able to access exclusive BoBoiBoy content in-game from now until31 October 2022.

These include BoBoiBoy Elemental Rush event which allows users to collect and fuse 7 core elements from the BoBoBoy 3D-animated series. By doing so, players can redeem exclusive in-game items such as Backpack, Helmet, Parachute, Ornament, Graffiti Spray and Avatar Frame. 

As for the second phase happening in January 2023, PUBG Mobile will release 2 exclusive characters inspired by the heroes BoBoiBoy and Fang. In collaboration with MONSTA, PUBG Mobile will focus on character development by organising a nationwide Voice Search contest to find the official voice within the community for the exclusive characters. 

In the same statement, PUBG Mobile also announced that the in-game collaboration will not be exclusive to our country but will also be released in 7 other regions. These include Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Myanmar, Hong Kong and Taiwan. 

Moreover, in order to cultivate the fandom of the two universes, PUBG Mobile and MONSTA unveiled an upcoming takeover of TS Law Tower located in central Kuala Lumpur which takes their seismic collaboration to greater heights. Fans of PUBG MOBILE and BoBoiBoy can experience the viewing from 17 until 30 October 2022.
