Just yesterday, the Touch ‘n Go Group just announced that all motorists in Penang can now use Touch ‘n Go card for parking at the Gurney Paragon Mall. This effectively makes Gurney Paragon be the first mall in the state to introduce and use Touch ‘n Go PayDirect, in which users can add their Touch ‘n Go card to their Touch ‘n Go eWallet to activate the PayDirect feature.

On top of that, users will also be able to enjoy a 20% cashback (capped at RM1.00) starting now until 30 April 2021 whenever they pay for parking using Touch ‘n Go PayDirect at Gurney Paragon Mall. This promotion is limited to one (1) cashback per user throughout the promotional period and is limited to the first 10,000 redemptions.

According to Khor Tze Ming, Group Executive Director of Hunza Properties Berhad, the company have been introducing cashless car park and ticketless parking since 15 September 2020. With this in mind, this means the users no longer need to hunt for the Touch ‘n Go kiosk to reload their card to pay for their parking fee. This also leads to less congestion at the entrance and exit especially during busy days or nearing mall closing hours.

By the way, the parking charges will then be deducted directly from the user’s Touch ‘n Go eWallet. It is that easy and will reduce the frequency for the card to be topped up physically. Stay tuned for trending tech news at TechNave.com.
