Looks like Malaysia does not want to get left behind in the EV industry. Today, Perodua confirms it will launch its first EV by the end of 2025. That said, what should you know about it?
According to the Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul, Perodua plans to introduce its affordable electric cars in Malaysia at the end of 2025. Reportedly, the Malaysian automobile company has collaborated with international automotive companies to achieve this goal. If everything goes smoothly, major production for the EV could start by the end of next year (2025).
