In case you missed it, Touch 'n Go eWallet just announced that they have partnered with Smart Selangor Parking and Flexi Parking which means you can do cashless payment for parking now. Called as the Street Parking Payment, this feature is now available in Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam.
As the feature suggests, Touch 'n Go eWallet users can just use the eWallet balance to pay for the parking. On top of that, a reminder will be sent to notify you there are 15 minutes left and you can even extend your parking time via the app. All you have to do is tap into the "Parking" icon (it's a P letter) at the main menu and add your vehicle number and description.
After that, you will have to choose the parking location and set the parking duration then "Pay Parking Now". An OTP will be sent to you for confirmation (first-time users only) as well, then you should receive a payment confirmation. Below is the list of places that are available for Street Parking Payment:
- Shah Alam (new)
- Petaling Jaya (new)
- Kuala Lumpur
- Subang Jaya
- Putrajaya
- Kuala Langat
- Kota Bharu
- Kuala Terengganu
- Machang
