The OnePlus 9 Pro design has been leaking around online and we just wrote a piece of news just two days ago. Normally, smartphone brands would stay quiet on these rumours but Pete Lau, OnePlus CEO has something to say about the latest leak.

According to his tweet, he said: "No design is ever set in stone. Because if it were, it wouldn't be a very lightweight smartphone". What does it mean? Well, he's basically saying that the one that we saw is probably not going to look like that as the end result. His tweet also hinted that the OnePlus 9 Pro would be a lightweight device.

Since the design is not final, it's a good bet that OnePlus is still experimenting with different designs for the next flagship. Previously, the company did a bunch of OnePlus Nord prototypes before settling on the usual vertical quad-rear camera setup. In terms of tech specs rumours, the flagship is rumoured to be featuring a Snapdragon 875 chipset and up to 65W fast charging technology.
