Phone Link for Android could get AI-generated text replies

Too tired after a long day to properly reply to messages? Well, AI can now think of replies for you. Samsung Galaxy smartphones already have this with Galaxy AI, but we can expect more platforms and devices to follow. For example, Windows 11 PCs.

Recently, Microsoft announced the latest Windows 11 Insider Preview, which had some Copilot updates. For those unaware, Copilot is Microsoft's AI assistant and answers to platforms like ChatGPT and Gemini AI. As such, its features are more or less the same. You can ask it to rewrite sentences, find articles on selected topics, and more.

With the new Windows 11 update, Microsoft wants to introduce a feature called "Suggested Replies" to the Phone Link for Android app. This lets you connect a smartphone (often Samsung smartphones) to a Windows 11 PC, allowing you to access certain apps on your phone. With the update, you'll be able to get AI-generated replies to text messages.

It seems Microsoft is keen on bringing Copilot support to more Windows features or apps, so you can look forward to more of these. Having said that, is there a specific Windows feature or app you hope gets AI support first? Let us know in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
