Portless iPhone might still be happening in the future. The latest rumour claims that the Cupertino-based company might be considering taking away the iPhone 15 Pro's physical SIM port. True or not, we are still two years away from finding out.

The information came from a Brazilian website called Blog Do iPhone. It has internal sources at an unspecified British company that say that the tech giant is planning to remove the physical SIM card slot in its 2023 Pro-tier iPhones. However, the website's name is not one that we're familiar with when it comes to iPhone rumours. Besides that, it's also not listed on the Apple leak reliability site AppleTrack, which is a red flag for us to take this news with a pinch of salt.

If Apple ever dropped the SIM slot, the users would have to rely on eSIM. eSIM is not something that does not exist now. Apple actually offers the feature for its current users. Therefore, there's still a possibility that the company would want to expand its usage.
