With the recent mass floods in Malaysia, travel is becoming more difficult, especially for those of us who have to do so. If you must travel, then we’d suggest that you plan your journey using this official JKR portal for natural disasters.
Looking much like a custom Google Map, it lists down recently reported natural disasters like floods and landslides. While you can navigate to your location or planned destination, you can also search just for floods, landslides, collapsed roads, broken bridges and sinkholes with reports that are up to date as of 19 December 2021.
You can also narrow it down to each state and there are also reports for road closure and road opening. The portal is exclusively in Malay though but we all know what banjir kilat (flash flood) means by now right? Stay tuned to TechNave.com for more updates.
