Remember the PlatinumGames news about a teaser site for The Wonderful 101 remake? Well, the developer has just updated it with the second game of four and it's an all-original PlatinumGames title. Currently called Project G.G, the new game is going to be directed by PlatinumGames' Hideki Kamiya.
All along, PlatinumGames has mostly developed games for external publishers, so this makes it the first time that the developer is fully in control. From the trailer released, it seems Project G.G will be a game about a kaiju invasion. We also see what seems to be a human transforming into a mech, though the silhouette is so obscure that we can't make out any details.
Director Kamiya has said that the finish line is "still a long way away", which means that we probably won't be seeing this game launched in 2020. But hopefully, we can get more details of it in E3 or TGS 2020. Kaiju stories are always fun so we'll be keeping an eye out for news on this game.
