When the Pocophone F1 was launched back in August 2018, it has received an overwhelmed reaction from the market for its specs and how the company set the price. Now, we’ve heard that the Xiaomi’s sub-brand is going to rise again by releasing a Pocophone F2 next year.

The Pocophone’s Global head, Alvin Tse, brought the good news to the public by posting on Twitter stating we will hear more from Poco in 2020. It has been a long time since the Pocophone F1 was released, so it must be really frustrating for the fans to wait for this long to get another successor from the company.

It is rumoured that the Pocophone F2 will sport a notch-less display as the front-facing camera will be in a pop-up form. This time, the phone will have an in-display fingerprint sensor and a triple-camera setup at the back as well. It might also feature a Snapdragon 855+ chipset as a selling point for the affordable device.

The last-gen Pocophone F1 features a Snapdragon 845 chipset and was initially priced at only RM1299 and RM1499 for 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants respectively. This has made the device become a real bargain for those looking for a phone that features high-end specs but didn’t want to lose big bucks.
