While your friends and family’s interest in Pokemon Go may have waned – share with them these numbers, and they may just go back into the game. Pokemon Go has been downloaded over 500 million times, and the players has walked a combined distance of over 4.6 billion KM. Plus, it is heading to the Apple Watch ecosystem.

These numbers are astounding – seeing the game as yet to see its 6-month anniversary. Within the first month, Niantic – the developer of the game – has made over USD 200 million (~RM _) through online transaction alone. Half of that number game in within the first three weeks of the game’s lifespan, when the game was still only available in US and Australia.

We think the game interest is not going to wane down anytime soon. Why? It is heading to the Apple Watch soon, where players can interact with the game right on their wrists. Plus, the Pokemon Go Plus is coming to market September 16, to selected countries.
