If you are planning to visit Sunway Pyramid this weekend, you ought to bring along your gamer friends because Acer Malaysia is hosting a roadshow with the latest lineup of Predator and Nitro devices. Not only that, some of the devices are on a flash sale as well as some promotions and activities for the public to try out.
Among the lineups, the Predator Helios 300 is back once again with the latest 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processors alongside up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX3080 GPU that support higher Maximum Graphics Power(MGP) of up to 150W. While the design looks more or less the same, the palm rest is slightly more spacious than before and the 15.6-inch QHD display is an 80% screen-to-body ratio. Moreover, the display also supports 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, 165Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time.
If you want, you can choose the configuration of up to 2TB SSD of storage and up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM (4800MHz). The dual 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fans are also upgraded, where the fan speed can be controlled via the PredatorSense button that's nearby the number pad. Other features that are worth mentioning are the WiFi 6E and Killer DoubleShot Pro (E2600+1675i) for fast connectivity.
Next, the Acer Nitro 5 is also powered by up to 12th Gen Intel Core i7 with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070Ti GPU, with up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and up 1TB SSD with an additional 2.5” SATA slot. Available in two options, the 15.6-inch gaming laptop offers either a 165Hz QHD IPS display or 144Hz FHD IPS display supporting 100% DCI P3 and 45% NTSC colour gamut respectively.
Like the PredatorSense that we mentioned earlier, the Nitro 5 also has a similar function called NitroSense that lets gamers monitor, optimize the system, overclock the CPU or GPU and customize the 4-zone RGB keyboard’s lighting mode. Selected Nitro 5 models also come with higher Maximum Graphics Power (MGP), and all the models are equipped with Killer DoubleShot Pro (E2600+1675i) and WiFi 6E.
To celebrate the arrival of the new Predator Helios 300 and Nitro 5, customers who purchase the laptops from Acer official stores and all authorized partners before 14 July 2022 will be entitled to receive merchandise worth up to RM833. Customers who purchase the Predator Helios 300 and Nitro 5 during the ‘It Lies Within’ roadshow will also be able to get additional cashback up to RM150.
Coming with 2 years local warranty and a concurrent first-year international travel warranty, the Acer Nitro 5 offers retail prices starting from RM4,399. It is available immediately at Acer eStore, Acer's official store on Shopee and Lazada. On the other hand, the Predator Helios 300 is available immediately from RM7,999 at the same aforementioned platforms as well as authorized Predator partners with a 2-year on-site warranty with accidental damage or theft protection.
