Acer Malaysia has officially expanded its Predator gaming ecosystem in Malaysia with the launch of several new gaming-focused devices, including the Predator Helios Neo 16, Predator Orion 5000, Predator XB273U X2, and Acer Nitro PG241Y P1. The new lineup targets gamers seeking high-performance gaming setups across portable, desktop, and hybrid environments. As usual, the Helios and Orion models are gaming laptops and desktops, respectively, whereas the other two are gaming monitors.
The Predator Helios Neo 16
Leading the launch is the Predator Helios Neo 16, positioned as a more accessible high-performance gaming laptop within Acer’s Predator ecosystem. The laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core i7 processor alongside NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 laptop graphics and the inclusion of its 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D cooling system, designed to maintain thermal stability during extended gaming sessions.

The device features a 16-inch 16:10 IPS display with up to WQXGA+ resolution, a 180Hz refresh rate, 3ms response time, and full 100% sRGB colour coverage. Additional features include Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E, 2.5G Ethernet, DTS:X Ultra Audio, and AI-powered Acer PurifiedVoice noise reduction technology for clearer communication during multiplayer gaming and livestreaming.
The Predator Orion 5000
For users who prefer a dedicated desktop gaming setup, Acer also introduced the Predator Orion 5000 desktop. The gaming tower combines an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F processor with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics, positioning it as a high-end gaming and productivity machine capable of handling modern AAA gaming, creative work, and AI-assisted workloads.

The desktop features Acer’s Predator CycloneX 360 cooling system, 32GB DDR5 RAM expandable up to 128GB, and 1TB SSD of storage with additional expansion support. Acer is also leaning heavily into gaming aesthetics, with a 45-litre chassis featuring tempered glass side panels, ARGB lighting, and partial use of recycled plastic materials.
The Predator XB273U X2 and Acer Nitro PG241T P1 Gaming Monitors
To complement the gaming ecosystem, Acer Malaysia also launched the Predator XB273U X2 monitor, which is a 27-inch QHD gaming monitor that supports an overclocked 210Hz refresh rate alongside a 0.5ms response time, aiming to reduce motion blur and improve responsiveness during fast-paced gameplay.

One of the more unique products announced is the Acer Nitro PG241Y P1, which Acer claims is Malaysia’s first 23.8-inch portable gaming monitor. The portable display supports a 144Hz refresh rate and IPS panel technology while connecting through a single USB-C cable. The monitor also includes an integrated kickstand and support for multiple usage scenarios, including gaming, work presentations, console gaming, and mobile creator setups.
Pricing and Availability in Malaysia
The Predator Helios Neo 16 starts from RM7,299 with RTX 5050 graphics, while higher-end RTX 5070 configurations reach RM9,999. Meanwhile, the Predator Orion 5000 desktop is priced at RM14,999. The Predator XB273U X2 gaming monitor retails at RM799, while the Acer Nitro PG241Y P1 portable gaming monitor is priced at RM649.
