In conjunction with the kick-off of the Predator League 2025 Malaysia offline qualifier, Acer Malaysia today unveiled a brand new Predator Orion X gaming desktop along with three advanced gaming monitors and wireless controllers. In this article, we will be focusing on perhaps one of the most compact gaming desktops on the market.
The Predator Orion X is a compact 15.4L chassis with a DIY-friendly tool-less design that makes upgrading and upkeeping easy for gamers. Inside the sleek and futuristic desktop, the interior is divided into separate zones for the CPU, graphics card, and cooling system, enabling straightforward upgrades. For added convenience, a hot swap M.2 SSD bay is located at the front, allowing quick storage changes.
In addition, the Orion X is equipped with Predator Frostblade 3.0 to improve airflow while minimizing vibrations and reducing noise. As usual, there is also a PredatorSense 4.0 utility app for gamers to monitor and optimize system performance, overclock and customize RGB lighting.
In terms of tech specs, the gaming desktop features up to an Intel Core i7-14700F processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER GPU. Paired with 32GB of DDR5 RAM (upgradable to 64GB) and a 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. It comes in two variants – Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7, which are priced at RM10,999 and RM12,999, respectively.
