Last year, Acer released the Predator Triton 16 but it never made it to the Malaysian market. This time, it's back with an upgrade. Promptly called Predator Triton Neo 16, has similar tech specs but is equipped with the latest Intel Core processor.
According to Acer, the latest processor is the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 185H, accompanied by NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 laptop GPU with 255W maximum power. This is a big laptop, weighing 2.05kg and measuring 18.82mm thin with a dedicated AI engine and Intel Application Optimization. For ray tracing, it comes with NVIDIA's DLSS 3.5.
As the name suggests, it has a 16-inch 165Hz 3.2K Calman Verified display in a 16:10 aspect ratio with 100% DCI-P3 colour coverage. It also comes with NVIDIA Advanced Optimus and G-SYNC, as well as Acer's Purified Voice 2.0 with AI noise trademark technology. Additionally, there's also the Predator Cooling System with 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D dual fans.
To top it off, the Predator Triton Neo 16 has a full range of ports, including HDMI and USB-C Thunderbolt 4, and a Micro SD card reader. Gamers can also utilise the PredatorSense 5.0 app to customise the 3-zone RGB keyboard and access the NVIDIA Studio suite and NVIDIA Studio Drivers to monitor stability.
The Predator Triton Neo 16 is now available at the Acer eStore, Acer official stores on Shopee and Lazada and Acer authorised resellers nationwide for RM9,999. To celebrate the launch, Acer Malaysia is rewarding customers who purchase the gaming laptop before 25 June 2024 with Acer Melbourne Luggage 20” worth RM999.
Moreover, customers who purchase select Intel products including the new Predator Triton Neo 16 before 21 June 2024 and participate in the lucky draw will stand a chance to win a pair of tickets and a trip to the VCT Pacific Season Finals in South Korea worth up to RM10,000.
