Proton’s electric push continues to gain momentum as the Proton e.MAS 7 secures a commanding 23.4% market share, solidifying its position as Malaysia’s No. 1 EV model for the sixth consecutive month in 2025.

Beyond domestic success, the e.MAS 7 is also making inroads internationally, with 250 units exported to new markets, including Trinidad and Tobago—a promising start to Proton’s global EV ambitions.

EV Retail Network and Infrastructure on the Rise

Ahead of the e.MAS 7’s launch, PRO-NET invested in 35 EV-ready dealerships nationwide, each equipped with modern service bays, EV tools, and DC fast chargers. With over RM2 million invested per outlet, these facilities have generated more than 700 new jobs, fueling local economic growth and EV service capabilities. PRO-NET continues to support its dealer partners through investment incentives, launch assistance, and customer experience training.

To support the growing EV footprint, PRO-NET has also expanded the Live Integrated Charging Map to include over 3300 charging points, with more than 1100 chargers located at 390 residential high-rises. Today, PRO-NET partners with 10 charging operators, including:

  • JomCharge
  • Charge+
  • ChargeSini
  • RExharge
  • Shell Recharge
  • Carput Zap

Trade-Up Made Easy with Power Exchange

To lower the barrier for first-time EV buyers, PRO-NET has rolled out the Power Exchange trade-in programme. It offers an RM5000 bonus for customers trading in any car, regardless of brand or age, subject to standard checks.
