Despite being unable to fulfil the demand for PS5, Sony has reportedly started developing a new model for the gaming console. According to the latest information, the new model in question is the PS5 Pro, spotted through a prototype sent from Japan to the US.
The source found the prototype on import records on Sony's shipping boxes of development kits shipped to the US. Furthermore, the brand's shipment reads "video game consol [sic.] (prototype)" and got dispatched from the UK to the UK. Therefore, there's a reason for us to believe that the company is indeed working on a new console, though there's a small chance for it to be an old prototype.
However, it's hard to tell whether the prototype is for the Pro model or the slim model, which rumours have been going on for a while, with such little information. Seeing that the company had launched both versions for the last-gen console, it makes total sense for these models to appear as well for the PS5. Therefore, let's wait for Sony to bring the good news!
