While we may just saw the launch of the latest and greatest SoC from Qualcomm, we have yet to know how the SoC is like in terms of performance. A new report has been spotted online, showing the possible specs of the 835, as well as the mid-tier 660 as well.

The table shows that the Snapdragon 835 will be based on a revised Kryo 200 CPU architecture, featuring an octa-core design with four large and four small cores (clock speeds unknown), an Adreno 540 GPU and the company’s X16 LTE modem.

Meanwhile the Snapdragon 660 processor appears to be built up using Samsung’s 14nm FinFet LPP manufacturing process, with four 2.2 GHz cores and four 1.9 GHz cores. The chip would also use the Adreno 512 GPU, X10 baseband, and two channels LPDDR4X-1866 memory and UFS 2.1 flash memory. This chip looks to be the official successor to the current Snapdragon 652.

We may be seeing the two chips in smartphones starting in the first quarter of 2017, and we can expect good things from these future smartphones, so stay tuned to TechNave as we bring you the latest technological news from the world of smartphones.
