More tech specs, details and features of the Snapdragon X2 series

The Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Series processors consist of the Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme, Snapdragon X2 Elite, Snapdragon X 2 Plus. Performance is up to 85 TOPS of AI processing power and the chips have been fabricated using the TSMC 3nm N3X process.

They utilize the Qualcomm Oryon CPU with up to 18 cores at up to 5.0 GHz frequency, for 39% faster single core and 50% faster multicore performance than before. Single-core and multi-core benchmarks have placed the Snapdragon X2 Elite Extreme ahead of the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 “Panther Lake” and Apple M5 processors. The 64-bit Hexagon NPU performance also outranks both.

The chipset also supports up to 3 5K 60Hz monitors while the Adreno GPU offers 2.3x faster gaming performance than before. The slice-based architecture also provides support for ray tracing. Battery life has been noted as multiple days but we can’t say how much exactly until we test them, as our previous experience was almost 2 days.
