Qualcomm recently announced the Snapdragon C chipset for budget Windows 11 laptops and devices. Aimed at $300 (~RM 1,189.80) laptops, the Snapdragon C chipset should offer 1-day battery life, quiet performance and still be able to handle web browsing, video streaming and light productivity. No Malaysia release dates yet, but we expect such laptops to arrive later in 2026.
It supports AI… but no other details yet
While the Snapdragon C does have an integrated Neural Processing Unit or NPU that supports AI features, there has been no information yet on how many TOPS exactly it delivers and other tech specs. Clearly made for students and other Windows users on a budget, it will roll out with laptop brands like Acer, HP and Lenovo.
We do know that one of the first laptops to have the Snapdragon C will be the Acer Aspire Go 15 but no Malaysia price details are available for now. What do you think? Is AI really all that important for your Windows computing experience? Many people don’t think so. Share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com
