Today, Qualcomm has unveiled the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 Mobile Platform, targeting users who want performance-focused multimedia smartphones. At the same time, there is also an accessible 5G lineup with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 Mobile Platform for mainstream and entry-level smartphones.
Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 Features
At its core, the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 features a Qualcomm Kryo CPU delivering up to 51% performance improvement, with clock speeds reaching 2.9GHz. Graphics performance also sees a boost, with a 20% improved Qualcomm Adreno GPU enabling crisp visuals and stable frame rates.
Devices powered by the chipset support FHD+ displays with refresh rates up to 120Hz, delivering low-lag gaming and fluid scrolling for streaming and social media. Power management is complemented by Qualcomm Quick Charge 3, which can recharge compatible devices up to 80% in around 35 minutes, helping users stay productive without long charging breaks.

Photography is another focus area for the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2, with support for camera sensors up to 108MP. Thanks to the Qualcomm Spectra Triple ISP, devices can perform concurrent multi-camera photo and video capture, enabling smooth transitions between ultra-wide, wide, and telephoto lenses.
Connectivity is handled by a Qualcomm LTE modem with Dual SIM Dual Standby, as well as support for Wi-Fi 5. On the AI front, the platform supports AI-enabled voice assistance, along with multi-microphone far-field detection and echo cancellation. These features enhance voice clarity during calls, recordings, and video capture, even in noisy environments, while maintaining power efficiency.
Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 Features
Next, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 is built on an advanced 4nm process, improving overall efficiency and power savings. It features a Qualcomm Kryo CPU with peak speeds of up to 2.3GHz, paired with a Qualcomm Adreno GPU for smooth visuals across apps and casual gaming. Support for LPDDR5 memory running up to 3.2GHz helps boost system responsiveness, and also supports 120Hz displays.
The chipset also supports up to 36MP cameras with fast autofocus, and image quality is further enhanced through AI-assisted low-light processing and hardware-based Multi-Frame Noise Reduction, which reduces grain and preserves detail in challenging lighting conditions. The integrated Qualcomm Spectra ISP also enables concurrent multi-camera capture for both photos and videos.

Battery life is a key strength of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4. The efficient architecture allows devices to last through long days of use, while Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ enables rapid top-ups, taking compatible devices from 0 to up to 50% in just 15 minutes, depending on device design.
Unlike the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2, the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 is built with full 5G support, powered by the Qualcomm 5G Modem-RF System. It delivers download speeds of up to 2.5Gbps and supports 5G Release 16, ensuring broader coverage and improved performance as networks continue to expand. Wi-Fi 5 support ensures reliable local connectivity, while built-in Beidou satellite system integration, enabled by default, enhances location and connectivity capabilities for users on the move.
