We’ve just seen the birth of the Snapdragon 855+ chipset recently and now Qualcomm is planning on unveiling their next flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 865 chipset. The chipset may reportedly be using TSMC’s second gen 7nm processor.
The first smartphone manufacturers that may be showcasing the chipset soon include Samsung, OPPO, Vivo and Xiaomi. It is reported that Qualcomm may be launching the chipset in November instead of December to compete with Huawei’s Kirin chips. So far, no other info about the chipset has been revealed.
If this is true, we may be seeing Q1 flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S11 series launched with this chipset. However, do take this info with a grain of salt as no official announcement has been made by Qualcomm. Stay tuned to TechNave.com to find out more!
