Just recently, Qualcomm just introduced a new technology called Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound. As the name implies, it will be heavily emphasized in smartphone audio and connectivity with the best audio sound quality possible. Under the theme 'How sound should sound', here's what you can expect from the company.

From their website, Snapdragon Sound is designed to deliver HiFi sound in 24-bit and 96kHz high-resolution Bluetooth music from your phone with Qualcomm aptX Adaptive audio technology. Qualcomm also aims to make the speakers bearable (without sounding like breaking) when maximizing the volume with Qualcomm Aqstic technology.

Plus, it's also designed to deliver super wideband 32kHz voice quality for clearer network calls with aptX Voice, eliminating background sounds. Qualcomm is also trying to offer a glitch-free audio experience in which Snapdragon Sound optimizes your device no matter how many other smart devices are around from interfering. For mobile gaming, it offers ultra-low latency of just 89 milliseconds.

Snapdragon Sound seems to be optimized for Snapdragon 888 chipset, FastConnect system, Bluetooth Audio SoCs and other features that we just mentioned above. This is pretty great news for Android users but we don't know which brand will adopt this technology yet. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
